Switzerland’s Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in St Moritz is hosting a “celebrity supper club” led by the haunt’s three Michelin-starred chefs – Jason Atherton of King’s Social House, Andreas Caminada of Igniv and Nobu Matsuhisa of its Matsuhisa restaurant – in tandem with “behind-the-scenes” dining experiences enhancing its culinary offering this spring.

The dining experiences will offer rare access to the hotel’s kitchens, where guests will partake in cooking classes with the chef de cuisine who will guide them through the preparation of signature dishes such as shimeji mushroom tacos with spicy lemon dressing. There is also an opportunity to meet head sommelier Daniel Kis for a tour of the Badrutt’s 30,000-bottle wine cellar before dining on black truffle risotto and cheese fondue in the chalet-style Krug Stübli located inside the vault.

The one-night-only supper club on February 20, meanwhile, will serve the cuisine of the hotel’s three star chefs at a special dinner. Several favourites will be on the menu, including Atherton’s Wagyu beef with pomme purée, apple, yuzu and Périgord truffle and Nobu’s caviar and tuna with ponzu shiso dressing and yamagobo. This will be followed on March 13 by an intimate dinner for 30 guests, who will join Olivier Krug – sixth-generation head of his family’s eponymous champagne house –  for a sparkling tasting menu.
